Russian Hill is one of San Francisco’s most distinctive neighborhoods, celebrated for its steep hills, sweeping views, and charming mix of historic and modern architecture. The area features everything from classic Edwardian and Victorian row houses to elegant mid-century and contemporary residences. One of its most famous landmarks is Lombard Street, often called “the crookedest street in the world,” with its series of eight sharp switchbacks. Another notable site is the Feusier Octagon House, one of San Francisco’s few surviving 19th-century octagon homes, located on Green Street.
